Insulated Foundation

Our foundation system is unique and provides excellent U-value, while minimising ground works and earth removal.

From finished level of the house, 400mm is used by our components, which need to sit on top of 150mm hard core chipping. Therefore depending the desired house level minimal excavation is necessary.
Over the levelled hard core we place our L shaped proprietary components.
The L shaped pieces are connected together using a comb type connector.
Additional insulation pieces are laid in place.
Under floor heating pipes are placed, if desired.
Rebar mesh will be added as necessary.
Concrete mix is poured to complete the task.
